Thermal Ionization for Short-Range Potentials

Abstract We study a concrete model of confined particle in form Schrödinger operator with compactly supported smooth potential coupled to bosonic field at positive temperature. show, that the exhibits thermal ionization for any temperature, provided coupling is sufficiently small. Mathematically, one has rule out zero an eigenvalue self-adjoint generator time evolution—the Liouvillian. This will be done by using commutator methods dilations space scattering functions. Our proof relies on spatial cutoff but does otherwise not require unnatural restrictions.
